F.M. “Mac” McDaniel, II
March 16, 1934 – June 13, 2010
F.M. “Mac” McDaniel II
This is my Dad.
He was my encourager and inspiration when I started to do new things.
He came to me when others turned their backs.
He was my friend, even at a time when I wasn’t his friend.

He always believed in me.
He is my father, and he is in Heaven.
He is not my Heavenly Father,
but he was God’s visible representative while he was here.

I grieve for my loss, I miss and will miss my friend.
But, I do not grieve for him — For only now can he do what he longed to do…
To meet our God and our Saviour and to worship him with a pure heart.

Oh, Grave, where is your victory?

Oh, Death, where is your sting?

Jesus Christ has overcome you and His glory is triumphant.
My father lives, in spite of you!
