Prayer Request
I apologize to my readers that I have not updated the site in a while, but my father is dying in a hospital in Georgia. I have been busy wrapping things up here and visiting him. I will go this weekend to see him one last time. One sister and I have accepted that he is effectively gone, but it is just setting in on my other sister and on two of my children.
I have great comfort in my father’s death as he knows Jesus Christ as his savior, but more importantly, Jesus knows him. Regardless of our knowledge and understanding, the loss of a loved one, especially my best friend, is emotionally hard. Additionally, there are things that must be wrapped up before and afterwards. Therefore, I ask for prayer for our family and friends as we morn his moving on, wrap up his final affairs and move on in our lives.
Even more importantly, pray that Jesus will be glorified in this event.
My father once had a dream that he could build a camper. He started a business named Paragon RV and I purchased the domain name ParagonRV.com for him. He created his prototype, but an accident left him injured and unable to complete his business. All these years I have kept the domain name alive by his request. Just as he entered the hospital the last time, I succeeded in fully automating the site. I had hoped to setup the site to generate an income automatically, then to turn it back over to him to collect the proceeds. Well, as I completed the project, he went to the hospital for the very last time.
My father has passed on, I am sure, but his body lingers between life and death without his soul. I praise the Lord that in what has happened, he suffered very little and his wish not to die on machines was granted.
If you have questions about either my father or about Jesus Christ in whom we know and trust, please feel free to ask.
Thank you for your prayers, and God Bless you.
